Recovery is Possible

Welcome to the Rochester NY Area of Narcotics Anonymous

NA is a non-profit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. This is a program of complete abstinence from all drugs. There is only one requirement for membership, the desire to stop using. We suggest that you give yourself a break. Our program is a set of principles written so simply we can follow them in our daily lives. The most important thing about them is that they work.

Why do we have a Rochester Area Service Committee?

In many NA areas, there may be different service needs that the individual NA groups can not fulfill on their own. So, in the interests of helping the addicts who still suffer, all the groups in our area have joined together to provide common services. The Rochester (Recovery Is Possible) Area Service Committee of Narcotics Anonymous (RASC) is the name of the committee formed to carry out these services. RASC was formed by the groups to serve the groups and is always dedicated to and responsible to the groups.
